Thinking I had deeply offended her and giving myself a huge mental face palm. On the contrary! She appreciated the honesty ❤ and we began discussing the book. Goodbye September!

Happy October! ❤ one of the best months of the year! It means scary movies with lots of popcorn (all month long!), spooky reads, the ofrenda gets put up and costumes come out of hibernation! Someday we’ll tell our kids how we used to go out for Halloween and have parties, with real people!

Basically, I turned around and now it’s September. Can you believe that!? In a way it’s like, “Oh no! The year is going by so fast!!!” On the other hand I think we can all agree with, “Thank GOD 2020 is coming to an end! Let’s never speak of this year again.”

Life Update

After two weeks my sister and brother in law decided to come and visit! It was nice and genuinely enjoyable. My family and I don’t always get along. Mostly there are a lot of topics we don’t see eye to eye on. Their views tend to match those that are more mainstream and mine, well don’t.

July Wrap Up

July felt like a very good month! Hopefully everyone got to enjoy it as much as I was able to, despite everything we’re restricted to doing these days. In July I read 10 books! Perhaps that doesn’t seem like much but it felt productive. It was very good mix of Children’s, Middle Grade and YA. I’m pretty happy with it!
