July Wrap Up

July felt like a very good month! Hopefully everyone got to enjoy it as much as I was able to, despite everything we’re restricted to doing these days. In July I read 10 books! Perhaps that doesn’t seem like much but it felt productive. It was very good mix of Children’s, Middle Grade and YA. I’m pretty happy with it!

According to my Goodreads Challenge I’m still a bit behind in order to be considered “on track” to finish my goal for the year. However if August promises to be as good as July was there’s no reason I won’t reach it!

What I Read!

Here’s what I read with links to their reviews.

The Assassins Daughter by Shana Vernon
Britfield and The Lost Crown by C.R. Stewart
Charlotte and The Fairies by Wendy Beasley
All This Time by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott
Soul Riders by Helena Dahlgren
The One and Only Bob by Katherine Applegate
ABC’s and 123’s FOR BOYS by Tom McLoughlin
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas (not yet reviewed)
Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince (re-read) by JK Rowling (not reviewed)
Conceal, Don’t Feel by Jen Calonita (not yet reviewed)

The Blog! ❀

As I said, July was fairly nice. The blog gained several followers. Looks like I’ll be hitting that 300 mark soon! I want to thank each and every one of you who follow this site ❀ you are the reason I’m here! Seeing all of your hard work is motivation for me everyday. You guys rock!
So far I’ve been doing a good job of posting at least two-three times a week. Here are some plans I have for August..

  • Incorporate more content!
My Monday and Wednesday posts are nice and comfortable. However I really want to see some growth. I fully intent to post more! Tags, Discussions, Lists etc! Just more.
  • Redesign the blog (yes again)
A couple months ago this blog was redesigned. I liked it but I got over it very quickly. The darker color scheme isn’t really capturing my eyes anymore when I look at my own blog. I’m going to try and find something more, me.
  • Read more ARC’s
I’ve been putting off E-ARC’s for a while due to my lack of an actual e-reader. That will be changing this month!

Looking forward to a new month! Happy reading ❀ Happy Blogging!
