What Are You Reading Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!
Woo we made it to the middle of the week.
This week I’ve only got two books to show off. Let’s get right into it shall we? 😉

Yep still working on this one. E books aren’t the easiest things to read when you’re used to having something physical. The book is set to release on May 22nd, just around the corner!

When assassins ambush her best friend, the crown prince, Rielle Dardenne risks everything to save him, exposing her ability to perform all seven kinds of elemental magic. The only people who should possess this extraordinary power are a pair of prophesied queens: a queen of light and salvation and a queen of blood and destruction. To prove she is the Sun Queen, Rielle must endure seven trials to test her magic. If she fails, she will be executed…unless the trials kill her first.

A thousand years later, the legend of Queen Rielle is a mere fairy tale to bounty hunter Eliana Ferracora. When the Undying Empire conquered her kingdom, she embraced violence to keep her family alive. Now, she believes herself untouchable–until her mother vanishes without a trace, along with countless other women in their city. To find her, Eliana joins a rebel captain on a dangerous mission and discovers that the evil at the heart of the empire is more terrible than she ever imagined.

As Rielle and Eliana fight in a cosmic war that spans millennia, their stories intersect, and the shocking connections between them ultimately determine the fate of their world–and of each other.

This one I chose because I just needed that physical book in my hands. Plus something tells me it’s going to be a great Summer read. What better time than now to get started on that Summer TBR? Also being preggers means real road trips do not sound like a good time. Let me just live vicariously through these two.

Amy Curry is not looking forward to her summer. Her mother decided to move across the country and now it’s Amy’s responsibility to get their car from California to Connecticut. The only problem is, since her father died in a car accident, she isn’t ready to get behind the wheel. Enter Roger. An old family friend, he also has to make the cross-country trip – and has plenty of baggage of his own. The road home may be unfamiliar – especially with their friendship venturing into uncharted territory – but together, Amy and Roger will figure out how to map their way.

For a now my boyfriend and I have been trying to catch up on the Marvel movies. Lately there’s been a rush on this because, as everyone knows, Infinity War has come out! The Avengers movies have all been phenomenal and I just can not wait to see the newest movie. He’s way behind and I’m just sitting here like, let’s watch the one movie we really need and then go see it! So today whilst grocery shopping we picked this up at RedBox. Yes, we still use RedBox….

Pretty soon here we’ll be cooking our dinner and ready to watch it!

Image result for RAD radio logoRAD stands for Rob, Anybody and Dawn. If you’ve never heard of this radio show, I don’t know what you’re doing then. Just kidding guys .My boyfriend and I listen to this show everyday. It’s the first thing her puts on in the morning. He’s more of an active listener than I am but we both really enjoy this show.
This is a morning talk show that covers a very extensive variety of subjects for discussion. This isn’t a show for the young really as some of their discussions are more on the, mature side. (i.e. they include vulgar language and some sexual jokes.) However their discussions are always either very hilarious or very heated or very passionate. It’s so hard sometimes not to yell at/with them as you listen.
They also have a fun trivia segment called the Pressure Cooker! Which is always really fun to play along with. That song somehow always ends up stuck in my head, weather I’ve listened to the show that day or not. It’s catchy!

Let me know what you guys have picked up this week. What are you currently stuck binge watching on Netflix or on TV in general? What’s the one thing you can’t stop listening to this week? I love hearing from you and seeing what you’re up to. Also if you’ve read either of the two books mentioned above share your thoughts! I’d love to hear how they turned out for you, but no spoilers please!

Enjoy the rest of your week guys!
