Goodreads Monday

Wouldn’t you know it, I’ve never done a Goodreads Monday before! I’ve seen Danielle over at Books, Vertigo and Tea do this many times. Also I LOVE her blog. Thank you Danielle for this great idea. Honestly I love looking around and seeing what other people are reading so this is going to be a lot of fun 🙂

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners. To participate, you simply choose a random book from your TBR and show it off. Don’t forget to check out her blog and link back to Lauren’s Page Turners and add your own links.

“A world with no hunger, no disease, no war, no misery. Humanity has conquered all those things, and has even conquered death. Now scythes are the only ones who can end life—and they are commanded to do so, in order to keep the size of the population under control.

Citra and Rowan are chosen to apprentice to a scythe—a role that neither wants. These teens must master the “art” of taking life, knowing that the consequence of failure could mean losing their own.”

This book seems to have gotten some pretty good reviews, all averaging at least 4 stars. I’m really looking forward to reading this book!
Have you read Scythe? What are your (non-spoiler) thoughts? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
